Liquid rocket engines represent the pinnacle of controlled propulsion technology. At MANI AEROSPACE, we are developing liquid propulsion systems that offer high specific impulse, precise throttle control, and restart capability.

Propellant Combinations

  • LOX/RP-1: Staged combustion cycle targeting 300+ seconds Isp with regenerative cooling and advanced turbopump assemblies.
  • LOX/LH2: Highest-performance combination, 450+ seconds Isp. Expander cycle for upper-stage deep-space applications.
  • Hypergolic Propellants: Self-igniting pairs for ACS/OMS. Developing greener alternatives to hydrazine-based systems.
  • LOX/Methane: Full-flow staged combustion for reusable first-stage. Mars-compatible propellant production potential.

Hybrid rocket engines combine the best of solid and liquid propulsion — the simplicity and safety of solid rockets with the throttleability and shutdown capability of liquid engines.

Engine Configurations

  • HTPB/N2O: Entry-level for sounding rockets. Self-pressurizing oxidizer eliminates complex pressurization systems.
  • Paraffin Wax/LOX: Primary high-performance config — 3–4× higher regression rates via liquid layer instability mechanism.
  • Additive-Enhanced Fuels: Metal hydride and nano-aluminum additives approaching solid motor performance with hybrid safety.
  • Swirl Injection: Patent-pending vortex system achieving C* efficiency above 95% and uniform fuel regression.
